MDJCL Spring Convention — April 28, 2012
The annual MDJCL Spring Convention will be on April 28th at Linganore High School. Great events like Certamen, athletics, arts, academics, and chariot races are planned for this day!
The MDJCL Spring Convention on April 28, 2012 at Linganore High School will have the following events:
- Certamen
- Competitive Certamen – come with a team and represent your school
- Open Certamen – sign up as a player and be assigned to a team of your level
- Athletics (Ludi)
- Ultimate Discus – the Roman version of Ultimate Frisbee
- Three-Legged Race
- Relay Race
- Golden Apples Race – a race, with a twist: each contestant must acquire an "apple" in order to cross the finish line
- Art
- 2D Art
- 3D Art
- Water Mosaic – an all day event in the courtyard
- Scrapbooks
- Academic Testing
- Chariot Racing
- Elections

More information will be posted as the day approaches. Students who wish to run for an MDJCL officer position can download a form here.
